Rules

These rules cover the waitlist for The Mysterious App, which is run by Aavam Innovation, India ("we"). By claiming a number, you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy.

1. Who can join

• You must be 18 or over.
• One number per person. You need an email address that's yours.
• Joining is free. There's nothing to buy.

2. Your number and ingredient

• Your number is the order in which you joined. Your ingredient is the result of your first scratch card. Neither can be changed, swapped or sold.

3. Inviting friends

• A friend counts for you when they join with your link for the first time, using an email that isn't already on the list, and confirm their email if we ask them to. We email you each time a friend counts.
• Only the person whose link was used gets the credit. There is no credit for friends of friends.
• You can't invite yourself, use fake, temporary or made-up emails, or use bots or scripts. Please don't spam people who didn't ask for your link.

4. Rewards

• Free months don't add up: you get the highest free-time reward you reach. "See it first" applies at every level from 3 friends.
• Free time starts when you first use the app after it unlocks. Rewards are personal and have no cash value. They can't be exchanged for money or transferred.
• We may add new rewards. If we change or end a reward, any reward you've already earned stays.

5. Scratch cards and lucky prizes

• You get 2 scratches when you join: the first one is your ingredient, the second is a welcome scratch. If you join with a friend's invite link, you get 1 bonus scratch. The friend who invited you gets 1 scratch for every friend of theirs who counts (see section 3), and every 5 friends who count also bring 1 scratch that is always Legendary.
• Each scratch gives you one ingredient for your basket. The odds for every scratch are: Legendary 1 in 100 (1%), Rare 1 in 5 (20%), Common 79 in 100 (79%). Within a tier, every ingredient has the same chance. You won't get an ingredient you already have while there are ones you don't have left in that tier; if you have them all, the scratch moves to another tier, and repeats happen only when you have every ingredient. Golden Mango is not in any scratch for now; it will be a separate limited drop.
• Each scratch also has a chance of a lucky prize, at most one per scratch: a bonus scratch, 1 in 8; 1 month free subscription, 1 in 100; 1 year free subscription, 1 in 5,000.
• Free time from lucky prizes and from friend rewards (section 4) together is capped at 6 months per person. Once you reach the cap, a scratch that would win another month wins nothing instead. The only exception is the 1-year prize: if you win it, you get 1 year free, and it can be won once per person.
• We decide each result on our server when you scratch; the card only shows it.
• Prizes have no cash value and can't be exchanged for money, sold or transferred. Free time starts when you first use the app after it unlocks.
• Entry is free. No purchase is necessary to join, to scratch or to win, and buying anything doesn't improve your chances.
• One account per person. We may void scratches, ingredients and prizes that come from fake sign-ups, extra accounts, bots or other abuse.

6. The daily box, streaks, sets and the full basket

• One box a day. You can open a mystery box once at least 20 hours have passed since your last box. Your first box opens 20 hours after you join. Each box gives you one ingredient for your basket, today's clue and a chance of a lucky prize. The clue is the same for everyone that day.
• A box's ingredient follows the same odds and rules as a scratch (section 5): Legendary 1 in 100 (1%), Rare 1 in 5 (20%), Common 79 in 100 (79%), no repeats while you still have ingredients left to find, and no Golden Mango. Its lucky prize has the same odds and the same limits as a scratch's.
• Streak. Open a box within 48 hours of your previous box and your streak goes up by 1; otherwise it starts again at 1. On day 7 of a streak (and every 7th day), the box's ingredient is a guaranteed Rare, or a Legendary with a 1 in 100 chance. On day 30 (and every 30th day), it is a guaranteed Legendary. If you already have every Rare (or every Legendary), the box gives one you don't have from the next tier up, then down.
• Sets. Tropical (12 ingredients), Citrus (8), Berries (8) and Spice Box (7). The first time your basket has every ingredient of a set, you get 1 bonus scratch. Each set gives its bonus once per person.
• Full basket. The first time your basket has every ingredient you can get from scratches and boxes (85; Golden Mango is a separate limited drop), you become a Master Collector and win 3 months free subscription when it unlocks. This counts towards the cap of 6 months per person in section 5: if you're already close to it, you get only the months left under the cap (the badge stays), and nothing on top of a 1-year prize.
• Times are measured on our server. Opening a box twice by mistake opens it only once.

7. The count and the unlock

• The count on the page and in our daily posts is the real number of people on the list.
• It unlocks for everyone when 1,00,000 people have joined. People with 3 or more friends who count get early access before that. We decide when early access opens and email you when it does.

8. Fair play

If we find fake sign-ups, bots, self-invites or other abuse, we may remove those sign-ups, take away the credit and rewards they earned, or remove the account from the list. Our decision on what counts is final, and we'll explain it if you ask.

9. Leaving

You can leave the list at any time with the link in our emails or by writing to us. You lose your number, your basket, your scratches and your rewards and prizes.

10. Changes and law

We may update these rules. We'll change the date at the top and email you about any significant change. These rules are governed by the laws of India. Questions: social.saporapp@gmail.com.
